Chalk the Block 2023

This was my first and only chalk event for 2023. Chalk the Block at Easton is always the premier chalk event of the season for Ohio Chalk Artist. This year was my 7th one! I've only missed it one time since I began to do chalk art in 2016!
I decided to do a design that gave a nod to my other job as a scenic artist. Our show at Town Hall Theater was Into the Woods this season. So I used our set as an inspiration for my chalk design. It worked out great!
It was a beautiful day that Saturday and I got started early and finished by 3:00 pm. My design went well with few hitches. It looked great. Several people knew the reference to the play and others I had to explain it to them
I added a advertisement for our show at Town Hall Theater in the lower left of the design. Since it had been my inspiration.
